After leaving the Hot springs we drove about 45 minutes north to a trail called the catwalk, which i had seen advertised in the ny times before we left and was curious about. It was much more 'tourist-friendly' than the hot springs trail... but absolutely incredible in its own way. They have built the trail so that it weaves along the inside wall of a canyon formed by a small river/ big stream. The rocks were sooo smooth, and had been sculpted in these beautiful natural formations by the water alone. Most of the pictures below are from Chris's eye.... i will not lie... he has a much better eye for rocks than I :)
