Our cabin in the parking lot of the 'Heart break Hotel' in memphis. We didn't get to Graceland... but it was literally right across the street from us. Elvis tunes were pumped into the Rv/cabin lot throughout the evening. It was a great little cabin... probably much warmer not in february.
Our best accidental find thus far: a genuine Memphis style lunch 'cafetaria'. Lunch:
consisted of... chicken sandwiched in fried corn bread with a side of rice and beet greens. Delicious!
The Mississippi river. (almost as dirty as everyone describes)... but also quite beautiful.
A sculpture along the mississippi that we stumbled upon. It tells the beautiful story of one man single handedly saving people along the river. I included the engraved description so you could enjoy the story for yourselves.
